Recently, All My Sons of Indianapolis gave the time and energy of several movers, plus resources like moving trucks and packing materials to a charitable program called Stuffed with Hugs.

Founded by Build-A-Bear Workshop, Stuffed with Hugs is an event that allows community members across the country to make a personalized, stuffed toy in the workshop, free of charge. The finished toys are donated back to Build-A-Bear Workshop, which in turn distributes the toys to needy children and a variety of child-centered charities.

And that’s where our friends in Indianapolis, Indiana come in! All My Sons of Indianapolis picks up the boxes of stuffed toys and makes sure they are safely delivered to local charities, hospitals, disaster sights and more. Each time Build-A-Bear hosts this great event, or professional movers will be there to ensure each toy reaches its destination safely.

Seasonal Decor Meets Storage Woes

As I walked around the house to collect all of my Easter décor and pack each item back into boxes, it occurred to me how much my holiday décor collection had grown in the past few years. One look into the attic confirmed my fears: the once-a-year décor items are taking up TONS of space. Not only that, but each time I dig into the décor boxes after a year of storage, an array of bug bodies, mouse droppings and spider webs has found its way in. Even the plastic bins are no match for rodent teeth on a mission.

So after a call to a local pest control office, I decided to add my collection of seasonal items to my storage unit at All My Sons.
