My family utilized our attic to store our winter clothes during the summer and vice versa. 2) Take advantage of vacuum sealable products. These space-saving bags let you use your vacuum cleaner to pull air out of specially-designed, durable storage bags. Your items stay safe and, in the case of linens or clothing, take up less space than traditional storage methods.
3) Choose your storage area wisely. Remember that your attic can reach sweltering temperatures on even a mild day in DFW. Candles, thin plastics and plywood can warp and crack in extreme temperatures.
